We build the web your business actually needs.
CoreCanvas designs and develops fast, modern websites and web apps for small businesses that want to be taken seriously online.
A studio, not a template farm.
We're a small web development shop in Falmouth. You work directly with the people writing your code — no account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no mystery markup.
Everything we build is yours: clean code, your own hosting and domain, and documentation so you're never locked in. We're happy to hand off, and happy to stick around for upkeep.

Proposals and payment
- Project work is fixed-price based on a written proposal or statement of work and is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- A deposit (typically 50%) is required to schedule work; the balance is due at launch unless a milestone schedule is agreed.
- Monthly care and hosting plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled with 30 days' notice.
- Invoices are due within 15 days. Overdue balances may incur a reasonable late fee as allowed by law, and we may pause work or services on unpaid accounts.
- Third-party costs (domains, hosting beyond what's included, premium themes or plugins, paid APIs) are billed at cost or paid directly by you.
Scope and changes
We'll deliver the work described in your proposal. Requests outside that scope ("change requests") are quoted separately and may affect the timeline. Two rounds of revisions are included at the design stage; additional rounds are billed hourly.
Client responsibilities
- You agree to provide content, feedback, approvals and any required access in a timely way. Delays on your side may shift the schedule.
- You confirm you own or have the right to use all content you provide (text, images, logos, data) and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
- You are responsible for the lawful use of the finished site, including any required disclosures, licenses and compliance for your industry.
Ownership and licenses
Once your account is paid in full, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for you, including custom code and designs. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks and reusable components, and grant you a license to use them as part of your project. Third-party and open-source components remain under their own licenses.
Unless you ask us not to, we may display non-confidential work in our portfolio and reference you as a client.
Warranty and support
We warrant that delivered work will substantially match the agreed proposal. If a defect in our work appears within 30 days of launch, we will fix it at no charge. This warranty does not cover issues caused by changes made by others, third-party services, hosting outside our care plans, or content you supplied.

Except as expressly stated, services and deliverables are provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific business results, search rankings or uninterrupted, error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreCanvas's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
